The Magic of Self Trust: Your Higher Self Is Not a Stranger
Hey, Love
I want to tell you a little story. It starts inside Worthy & Rising - my free community - the kind where tea is hot, energy is soft, and we all show up exactly as we are. We were playing with the idea of our higher self - but not in the polished, unreachable Instagram-goddess way.
More like…what if your higher self is just a softer, wiser version of you?
Not someone else or just a fantasy. But a you that’s a bit more resourced. A bit more rested. A bit more aligned.

✨ The Workshop Moment That Gave Me Chills
So there we were. Laughing, sharing, being real. And one of the Rebels said something that made my whole body pause (paraphrased, for dramatic effect):
“Wait... I always thought my higher self was someone far away. But she’s actually just a few little steps from who I am now.”
Okay, wait. That made me emotional.
Because YES. That’s it. That’s the whole thing.
Your higher self isn’t some distant future you who’s got it all figured out.
They’re already nearby. Already showing up in the small ways.
Wearing the jewellery that makes you feel like a queen, even when your inbox is scary.
Saying “no” to that thing that drains you, even when it’s awkward.
Waking up and choosing rest before productivity, because your body asked you to.
That’s self trust.
That’s actually you, inching toward your magic - in a gentle remembering.

🌿 A Tiny Prompt, A Gentle Portal
Let’s make this a little real for you too, love.
Right now, just for a moment, imagine a version of you who is closer to your higher self.
Not perfect or polished. But a version of you who feels a tiny bit more rooted. A bit more expressed. A bit more…you.
What are they doing differently?
What are they wearing, saying, eating, listening to?
What little detail from their life could you borrow today?
Maybe it’s a touch of perfume you save for “special” occasions.
Or a five-minute song-dance-break that shifts your mood.
Or a post you’ve been too shy to share - that you share anyway, just for the audacity of it.
Let it be delicious.
That’s how we practice self trust - by gently allowing ourselves to become.
💫 A Ritual to Anchor This In
If you’d like, here’s a little spell to seal it:
Choose a gesture - something simple and sweet:
a hand to your heart, a touch to your third eye, pressing your index finger and thumb together.Say this aloud (or in your mind):
"I am...(and then add your favourite thing you want to embody, like "strong" or "calm" or "someone who sets firm boundaries" or "someone who takes no bullshit", etc)
Repeat it three times, if it feels good. Let it settle into your body like a whisper.
This is how you begin. With tenderness, and openness to be a vulnerably newer version of you.
And it's not by chasing the “highest” version of yourself, but by loving the one who’s already right here - and becoming more of her, one delicious moment at a time.

🌙 If This Resonates, Come Sit With Us
We do things like this often in the Feel Good Rebel community - Worthy & Rising.
We're a bunch of magical misfits playing with self-trust, embodiment, joy, and rebellion.
If you want to be witnessed - or reminded - or just seen in all your messy becoming… we’re here.
Come join a circle. Listen to the podcast. Or just send me a little note and tell me what part of your higher self you’re already becoming.
You’re closer than you think, love.
And I’m so glad you’re here.
